If you dread having to paint and scrape for two weeks in the summer during your vacation, we can wrap your new or existing trim and fascia with aluminum coil stock bent on site to conform to your current design. This feature allows you to accent your trim and fascia while providing maintenance free living.

Along with purchasing new fascia, it's a perfect time for Van Derhoof Roofing to provide you with properly vented soffits by installing fully vented vinyl soffit panels, circle vents, vented grates, or Fascia Flow vented fascia. Properly vented soffits provide one of the main components to ensure your attic space is free of excessive amounts of heat build-up in the summer and winter. Heat loss in the winter will get trapped in an improperly vented attic space which will produce condensation and the eventual growth of mildew in your attic. The heat build-up in your attic in the winter will also cause ice build-up on your eaves creating ice dams. These dams will not allow melting snow to run off the roof and eventually this will cause leaking into your home. Heat build-up in the summer will damage the decking on your roof and damage the shingles which will decrease there lifespan.

Eventually, the heat build-up in the attic in the summer will heat up living space that most of us try to cool down with air conditioning.
